❄️ COLD SNAP, SNOW ON THE WAY
Bureau of Meteorology Parts of the southeast could be on the way to register their lowest temperatures during May this weekend. #Canberra and surrounds are forecast to drop to around -5C degrees on Sunday morning. If it gets there, this will be the city’s coldest May morning in six years and it’s lowest temperature for any month in almost two years. Alpine weather stations such as #PerisherValley are forecast to reach -7C degrees on Sunday morning. Further north, #GlenInnes in northern NSW is tipped to get to -4C on Sunday and Monday mornings. As a result, snowfall is also expected to fall across alpine areas with up to 10cm possible. ▪️www.nswincidentalerts.com
